We have a healthy appetite. When devising our menu we knew what should be on there, what any decent country pub offering should expect to feature.
Our approach to food is simple, but always honest. That’s why every dish is cooked from scratch right here at the Eagle’s Head.
The ingredients are sourced as best as possible – if we can get our meat from a local farmer or butcher, then it makes sense to support our community, right? They know where it comes from, they know what we’re going to do with it and together we make sure it ends up on a plate as a meal to be enjoyed.
We’re also proud of our pies. They’re proper pies, individually hand made here at the pub, filled to the brim, full of flavour and surrounded by a golden pastry crust. We serve them with buttered mashed potatoes, seasonal greens and gravy.
Sometimes our pies are a little wonky or the gravy might spill over a bit but, like everything we do, they’re made with the same passion for great British food.
