Proprietors Rob and Rebecca always look to buy local. Most of the dishes
are homemade using fresh local produce wherever possible. Fresh meats
are delivered daily from quality supplies such as Cartmel Valley Game and
Cumbrian Fellbred meats. Meals are cooked to order and the pub enjoys
an excellent reputation for its food. Kids love the homemade chicken
goujons and people travel from far and wide for the homemade plate pies!
The Eagles Head is also noted for the efforts its chef will make to
accommodate special dietary needs. If you have such a need please let a
member of staff know or call in advance.
NEW - We now offer our full autumn/winter menu lunchtime and evening.
Please note our last orders for meal service is 8:30pm. Booking is
advisable. No food is served on Mondays, except on Bank Holidays.
